GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Steelcase Inc. announced that it has joined the Institution Recycling Network (IRN) to find environmentally friendly ways to reuse old office furniture, according to mlive.com. The Environmental Partnership Program matches unwanted office furniture with non-profit organizations worldwide that are in need of desks, chairs, and cubicles.

“In the U.S. and around the world, there's tremendous need for furnishings to outfit schools, clinics, hospitals, businesses and homes that have been devastated by hurricanes, earthquakes and other natural disasters,” said IRN's Mark Lennon.
