MURFREESBORO, TN — Steel City Tool Works, a manufacturer of woodworking machinery, has extended its Instant Rebates program, originally slated to conclude at the end of 2008, through April 30, 2009.

“Like everyone else, woodworkers have been forced to deal with tough economic times,” said Scott Box, Steel City’s president. “By extending our Instant Rebates program, we’re simply trying to make it a little easier for our users to purchase the tools that help fuel their passion for woodworking.”

Instant Rebates are available on select Steel City machines, including, bandsaws, jointers, shapers, drill presses, mortisers and dust collectors. Instant Rebate savings range from $50 on dust collectors to up to $200 on shapers.
