Southern Cal. cabinetmakers to meet Oct. 28
SAN DIEGO, CA -- Foothill CabinetWorks hosts a day-long CMA College of Cabinet Making and Custom Woodworking event Oct. 28, sponsored by Colonial Saw, DBS/Drawer Box Specialties and Louis and Company.

The Southern California Regional Event will include CMA Speakers Bureau veteran member Bob Buckley of True 32 Custom Cabinets of Lavergne, TN, who's keynote seminar will be "Lean Manufacturing-Creating better work flow." Buckley has spoken at woodworking shows across the country for a number of years, including the big summer shows in Las Vegas and Atlanta. 

In addition, CMA sponsors will provide informative, educational formal presentations. Colonial Saw's Karl Frey will present the New Lamello Zeta and Clamex-P connector system, including a hands-on demo. DBS representatives Doug Carmichael and Bill MacGregor will present a talk titled "10 Reasons to Outsource." Ted Fatseas and Mike Sweetman of Louis and Company will also be on hand. Fatseas will discuss overall commitment to service that Louis and Company has and will briefly cover a few new hardware items. Mike Sweetman will briefly cover new items from Formica. 

Schedule:
8:00 AM - Coffee, light breakfast, and introductions
8:45 AM - Welcome and beginning of presentations
12:15-1:00 - Lunch break.
1:00-4:00 - Afternoon presentations
Note: Workshop could go as long as participants are willing.

Cost: CMA Members and their guests: $25 per person. Non-members: $40 per person. All Late Registrants or Pay At The Door: $65 per person.
