MOSINEE, WI — Window and door manufacturer SNE Enterprises has filed a notice with Wisconsin state officials indicating that the temporary layoff of about 185 employees that began in January is expected to last another six months, according to The Business Journal of Milwaukee. The company said in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification letter filed with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development that an “unforeseen and unusual deterioration of business” makes the company unable to recall the laid off workers, and that the layoffs are expected to be indefinite and are to last at least another six months.
