MISSISSAUGA, ON — Sino-Forest Corp. announced strong financial results for the third quarter 2008. Highlights included: revenue increased 83% to $296 million; EBITDA was up 67% to $221 million; before an impairment charge of $18 million, net income rose 47% to $93 million and diluted EPS was $0.49; cash flow from operations rose 24% to $269 million year-to-date; cash and equivalents of approximately $499 million.
