Simonton Windows extrusion plant extends safety streak
Wood Windows Growth WIll Be Slowest
PARKERSBURG, WV -- SimEx, a vinyl extrusion company owned by Simonton Windows, recently celebrated its fourth consecutive year without a lost-time injury.

“It wasn’t the luck of the Irish that helped us create this impressive safety record on March 17 --- it was the dedication of the entire SimEx team,” said Dan Pennock, plant manager for SimEx. “Our team is committed to maintaining safe work conditions and this achievement reflects the culture of our safe working environment."

The SimEx operation supplies rigid vinyl window profiles to Simonton and PVC products to Fypon. The company operates 26 extrusion lines, plus a compounding and blending operation, and support departments. The plant also has a recycling operation, machining and tooling and maintenance departments.
