CLEVELAND, OH – Sherwin-Williams has renamed its Chemical Coatings Division to Sherwin-Williams Product Finishes. This follows the acquisitions of finishing manufacturers Becker Acroma and Sayerlack in 2010.
The company says the newly expanded Sherwin-Williams Product Finishes Division boasts a very strong presence in Europe with manufacturing and distribution capabilities. The acquisitions also added to the company’s existing infrastructure in China and Asia, doubling its capabilities.
Drew McCandless, president of the Product Finishes Division, states, “The time was right to reflect our expanded footprint with a name that articulates the division’s focus on providing finishes that meet customers’ performance, compliance and aesthetic demands.”
