SHERBROOKE, QUE — Furniture maker Shermag Inc., a Quebec company restructuring under bankruptcy protection from creditors, announced it obtained an extension to July 24.from the Quebec Superior Court.
The company will use the extension under the federal Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act to develop a plan to sell its assets and repay creditors, according to The Canadian Press.
