FRANKLIN, NC — Shaw Industries Group Inc., a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, has acquired Franklin-based Zickgraf Hardwood Flooring LLC, thefranklinpress.com reports.
Dalton, GA-based Shaw is the world’s largest carpet manufacturer with more than $5 billion in annual sales and is also a manufacturer of hard surface coverings. The acquisition of Zickgraf allows Shaw to continue to round out its hardwood flooring capabilities. No management changes or lay-offs are planned.
