WESTBROOK, ME – Saunders Brothers Acquisition LLC has completed the purchase of Saunders Brothers, a manufacturer of wood components and dowels, from Bank of America in a foreclosure proceeding.

Kalvin King, CFO of Saunders Brothers Acquisition, said, “(We are) dedicated to investing back into both the Locke Mills and Fryeburg, ME, facilities and have already completed a warehouse project and are in the process of implementing a new MAS 90 computer system for both cost accounting and customer service.” The company intends to implement lean manufacturing to reduce overhead.

The company has also expanded its sales and marketing force. Kris Archer was hired to serve as sales and marketing assistant. In addition, Mike Guccione and Associates was contracted to handle sales for California, Nevada and Arizona, and Dow Carver will cover North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
