WASHINGTON – Cost Plus Inc. of Oakland, CA, has issued a recall for approximately 24,500 Bistro metal folding chairs. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the chairs can collapse due to faulty rivets.
Cost Plus has received seven reports of chairs collapsing, including one incident that involved a minor injury.
The chairs, made in Taiwan, sold nationwide between January 2007 and July 2007.
Consumers are urged to return the chairs for a full refund.
