LEXINGTON, NC – RP Machine Enterprises of Statesville has acquired Fletcher Machine a production woodworking machine manufacturer, according to The Dispatch Online.

“We expect to continue it and hopefully grow it,” said Greg Watson, chief financial officer of RP Machine Enterprises.

Fletcher Machine’s new name will be RP Fletcher Machine Co.

RP Machine Enterprises announced that the acquisition included machinery, equipment, inventory, trade name and all existing business. RP Machine will lease the more than 100,000 square feet of plant space from former owner Ray Fletcher. The purchase price was not disclosed.
