Rigid recalls table saws from Home Depot

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of approximately 3,000 Rigid 10-inch table saws distributed by One World Technologies Inc. of Anderson, SC.


No injuries were reported, but Old World Technologies received three reports that the table saw’s arbor shaft can fall when used with a stacked blade set, commonly used to cut dados.

The saws, manufactured in China, were sold exclusively at Home Depot from January 2009 to July 2009.
