HOLLYWOOD, FL -- The retail environments industry, which includes wood and metal store fixtures, grew by 15% in 2010 and could grow that much more again this year.

While business is on the upswing, according to the Association of Retail Environments' (A.R.E.) semi-annual Revenue Trends Survey, approximately 60% of respondents indicated that they do not expect their businesses to return to 2007 sales volumes until 2012 at the earliest.

The A.R.E. represents some 600 member companies including store fixture suppliers, retail design firms, suppliers of visual merchandising products, and suppliers of materials and equipment for the retail environments industry.
