DUBLIN, IRELAND – Sales of sawmill and woodworking machinery manufacturing in the United States were approximately $900 million in 2008 with an estimated gross profit of 27.6%, according to a new study by Research and Markets.

The 167-study, “Sawmill and Woodworking Machinery Manufacturing Industry in the U.S. and its International Trade,” includes information on the industry’s key financial data, competitive landscape, cost and pricing, and trend during the current economic recession.
