Radtech, the Association for Ultraviolet (UV) and Electron Beam (EB) Technology, announced it has released a report detailing the regulatory benefits of UV and EB finishing in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD). The South Coast Air Quality Management District is the air pollution control agency for all of Orange County, CA, and the urban portions of Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernadino counties, according to the AQMD Web site.
The report, titled “UV and EB Technology and the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD)--A Users Guide,” can be downloaded here, and the implications in the report detailing environmental and energy benefits of the technology can be applied worldwide, according to a release from Radtech.
