WINCHESTER, CT -- Provident Millwork & Hardware, a two-year-old architectural millwork firm specializing in high-end home interiors, said it plans on expanding.
The 15-employee firm told the Winsted (CT) Journal that business is growing at its home base and at its three satellite locations across the country, which specialize in high end interior carpentry, including cabinets, bookcases and ornate paneling and trim, for multi-million-dollar homes.
Projects for the homes, which measure 20,000 square feet each, can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, presidnet Mark Corbran told the local paper. Architects and homebuilders contract with Provident Millwork to create and install the wood interiors.
Corbran told the paper Provident Millwork has recently hired three new employees, and that his firm is in talks with the state about grants to purchase another building and hire veterans.
