MONTREAL— The Protech/Oxyplast Group announced that they have reached an agreement to purchase the North American powder coating business and assets of Govesan Mfg. Inc. of York, PA. The transaction is expected to close by the end of April.
Govesan Mfg. Inc, is an affiliate of Govesan S.A.U. of Madrid, Spain. Protech expects to benefit from the business relationships that Govesan has developed over the years with its customers. Protech will integrate the Govesan powder manufacturing operations into its own organization. Protech says current customers of Govesan will continue to be able to obtain the products they are currently purchasing and, as well, will now have access to Protech’s worldwide network of products and technology.
