Primo International, a  furniture and mattress manufacturer and importer, has signed a licensing partnership with kathy ireland Worldwide.

According to John DeFalco, executive vice president of Primo, the agreement will result in an initial launch of up to 30 new Klik Klak Studio Sleepers, futons and other items beginning at the Las Vegas Market on Jan. 24.

"(T)he initial 30 items just represent our first steps together," DeFlaco said. "Kathy and her team are already working on additional pieces that will roll out later in the year and will also be shown in High Point, Montreal and Toronto."

"The partnership, along with Kathy's design direction, has been in the works for the past several months and we are truly proud and delighted to have this opportunity to develop a product lineup that supports Kathy's mission of "... finding solutions for families, especially busy Moms," DeFalco said.

Initial retail price points will range from $149 to $499.

Former super model Kathy Ireland now heads kathy ireland Worldwide, a licensing company that includes  agreements with multiple furniture companies.

Primo Intl will expand its Klik-Klak studio futon and bed program at the Las Vegas Market designed and branded by kathy ireland Worldwide.

kathy ireland Worldwide was recently recognized by 2010 License Global Magazine as the 28th most licensed brand globally. Worldwide retail sales exceeded $1.4 billion.
