PORTLAND, OR â Pollmeier Inc., a manufacturer and exporter of European beech, has launched the International Beech Design Award campaign to illustrate the uses and design options for European beech.
The contest is open to anyone who designs or manufactures products made of beech wood. Entries can be registered online or submitted via a written description and photo by mail. Accepted projects will be posted on the Pollmeier Web site for site visitors to view and evaluate. The contest will run through Oct. 30, and prizes will be awarded at the end of the contest period.
