ISLAND POND, VT -- Plans to convert a former Ethan Allen furniture factory into a wood pellet mill have been postponed pending the outcome of Tuesday's general election.

According to WCAX-TV, potential developer Fran Azur withdrew an application for a state land use permit for the project in the town of Brighton. He told the TV station that he would wait to see how Tuesday's election goes and that it is a tough time to invest.
