VENICE, FL — PGT Inc., a manufacturer of impact-resistant windows and doors, reported third-quarter revenue of $72.2 million, a decrease of $26 million compared to the same period in 2006 and $7.5 million less than in the second quarter of 2007, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal. The company also started restructuring last month and revealed it will lay off about 180 employees to offset the housing market downturn and reduced sales. Read more.
