PELLA, IA — Pat Meyer, president and CEO of Pella Corp., has joined the Iowa Business Council, a group of leaders from Iowa’s largest companies, according to the Des Moines Register.
Meyer replaces Mel Haught, who retired as CEO of Pella last year. Haught served as the 2009 chairman of the council.
The council is made up of the top executives of Iowa’s 20 largest employers, the three state universities and the state’s banking association. Together they employ more than 210,000 people.
