HOLLYWOOD, FL — Retail luminaries will gather to celebrate the next generation of retail designers at the Planning and Visual Education (PAVE) Partnership's Annual Gala, to be held on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011. Now in its 15th year, the Gala is a major fundraiser for PAVE, which will award more than $65,000 in grants and competition awards throughout 2011.
Chairing the 2011 event is Bill Goddu, vice president of marketing for Fleetwood Fixtures. Co-chairs are Harry Cunningham, senior vice president of store planning, design, and visual merchandising for Saks Fifth Avenue, and Denise Waldo, vice president, business development at Leggett & Platt Store Fixtures.
The winner's of PAVE's 2011 Student Design Competition, sponsored by Sephora, will be recognized. Also at the event, VMSD will present awards for Excellence in New York Visual Merchandising and Design and DDI will present the Winning Windows Awards, honoring the top holiday windows in NYC.
