SHELTON, CT — Panolam Industries Int’l Inc., a designer, manufacturer and distributor of decorative and industrial laminates in North America, on Dec. 13 reported consolidated net sales for the three months ended September 30 of $105.6 million, gross profit of $22.3 million and net income of $1.1 million, according to CNW Group. In addition, the company reported consolidated net sales for the nine months ended September 30 of $329.8 million, gross profit of $72.3 million and net income of $4.4 million.

Commenting on the third quarter 2007 results, Robert Muller, chairman of the board, president and CEO, stated, “In light of a difficult economy and the continued slowdown in the residential housing market, I am relatively pleased with our financial results for the third quarter of 2007.”
