EDSON, AB - Signs of a housing construction recovery are giving Weyerhaeuser cause to ramp up its OSB mill here to a 24-hour schedule.
According to the Edson Leader, the mill should return to a continuous operation in mid-April. Eighteen people will be brought on to make that happen.
The newspaper reported that about three-fourths of the Edson mill's OSB flooring product is shipped to the western United States.
