SHELTON, WA — Olympic Panel Products LLC announced that it has achieved Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification for MDO and CDO concrete forming plywood. This certification will enhance the availability of FSC-certified concrete forming panels, according to the company. The certification consists of three elements: Chain-of-Custody certification for non-overlaid and overlaid concrete form wood products; Controlled Wood certification for logs processed from an area of the Olympic Peninsula; and a Paper Derogation or waiver allowing the use of non-certified overlay papers while Olympic pursues and helps develop FSC-certified paper overlays. Olympic’s FSC-certified products will carry an “FSC Mixed Credit” product designation.
