Office furniture orders fall 32% in February
GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Assn. (BIFMA) said U.S. office furniture orders dropped approximately 32% to $625 million in February, while shipments fell 28% to $645 million, according to Reuters. BIFMA maintained its 2009 forecast of 26.5% decline in orders and 19.3% fall in shipments.
