MANITOWOC, WI – Invincible Metal Furniture Co., a manufacturer of steel office furniture, informed state officials that it will close May 12, which would result in a loss of 81 jobs, according to The Milwaukee Business Journal.
However, efforts to sell the company to a new owner will continue. The company has been placed in receivership and has notified the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development of its plans to permanently shut down. Wisconsin state law requires 60 days notice of a mass layoff.
