RESTON, VA – According to participating members in the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Assn.’s monthly Trend of Business Survey, cabinet sales for October 2006 increased 0.8% over October 2005. Stock cabinet sales increased 1.0% and semi-custom sales increased 1.8%, while custom sales decreased 6.2%. Year-to-date sales show an overall increase of 8.6%, with stock sales up 7.8%, semi-custom sales up 10.5% and custom sales up 3.6%. The survey participants were made up of stock, semi-custom and custom companies whose combined sales represent over 50% of the US cabinet market.
