TORONTO – Brookfield Asset Management Inc., one of Canada’s largest conglomerates, has funneled $144 million (CAD) to prop up Norbord Inc.

BAMI is the largest minority shareholder of Norbord. The company doubled its stake in Norbord and now owns 75 percent of Norbord’s equity.
