— The National Kitchen & Bath Assn. (NKBA) has elected Mark L. Karas, of Adams Kitchens Inc., Stoneham, MA, as president for 2010. Current Vice-President David Alderman, Dave’s Cabinet Inc., Chesapeake, VA, will become president-elect, while the current treasurer, Alan Zielinski of Better Kitchens Inc., Niles, IL, was elected vice-president.

The NKBA also announced the two newest members of its Executive Committee. John Morgan of Glyndon, MD, is secretary and Michael Alba of Coral Springs, FL, is treasurer.

The NKBA is a nonprofit trade association that owns the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show. It has nearly 40,000 members.

Karas
