CANTON, MT – Cooper Firearms of Montana, a manufacturer of bolt-action rifles, has received a $125,000 deferred economic development loan from the Canton Community Improvement Corp. to renovate and equip a 40,000-square-foot building.
According to the Canton Repository, the operation will include woodworking and metalworking machinery. It is expected to employ 45 people by late 2010.
