ARLINGTON, VA -- The American Chemistry Council (ACC) announced formation of a self-funded product group to support the formaldehyde industry.
The new group, approved by ACC’s board of directors in June, will represent producers, users and suppliers of formaldehyde and formaldehyde products.
The Formaldehyde Panel’s primary activities will include advocacy, research, and marketplace outreach. Initial members of the panel include two of the nation’s major formaldehyde producers: Georgia-Pacific Chemicals LLC and Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc.
