HOLLYWOOD, FL —The National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers (NASFM) has officially adopted a new name and brand identity that it believes will better reflect the breadth of products and service that the association’s member companies provide. The new name, the Association for Retail Environments includes both the expansion of products and services provided by traditional store fixture members, as well as the inclusion of retail design firms, visual presentation products companies, companies that supply materials and equipment, and others.
“After more than 50 years as NASFM, changing our name was not a decision that was easily made,” notes Klein Merriman, executive director of the association. “The new name reflects the full breadth of our members’ capabilities.”
