More international delegations expected at AWFS Fair
CITY OF COMMERCE, CA – Inquiries are up for the Department of Commerce (DOC) International Buyer Program (IBP) at AWFS Fair, to be held July 15–18 in Las Vegas. The program is designed to bring international buyers to select U.S. trade shows to purchase products from U.S. manufacturers.

The 2009 IBP offers logistical support and a custom exhibitor directory, and is actively working to attract official delegations from Brazil, Egypt, Guatemala, Mexico, Hong Kong, Portugal and Thailand. It is also promoting the show to groups in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Japan, New Zealand, Panama, Russia, United Kingdom, Colombia, Philippines, Germany and Denmark.

“International buyers are looking to buy new, exciting products and services, and our U.S. manufacturers offer a competitive selection,” said Ana Druk, AWFS international relations liaison.  “We’re delighted with the response we are receiving from buyers around the world.”

All international attendees will receive an AWFS Vegas International Export Directory, which will include listings for more than 100 exhibiting companies expressly interested in export opportunities.
