Monarch Industries selling surplus woodworking machineryRUMFORD, RI -- Monarch Industries, Inc., a major East Coast store fixture manufacturer, is selling a wide range of woodworking machinery. The surplus equipment, no longer required in the continuing operations of Monarch Industries, is available immediately for sale by Hilco Industrial LLC in cooperation with Stiles Machinery Inc.

Founded in 1951, Monarch Industries builds, finishes and installs more than $65 million of millwork and store fixtures annually, as reported on their website. Their list of clients includes Macy's, Coach, Starbucks, Ann Taylor, The Sharper Image, Bloomingdales, The Venetian and Bellagio. The sale will be held at Monarch's Rumford facility, one of five manufacturing sites owned by the company. 

Monarch Industries won honorable mention in the architectural millwork category in the 2011 CWB Design Portfolio contest. Their project, The Peabody Hotel & Convention Center in Orlando, FL, featured 70,000 square feet of maple, white oak, walnut and black limba plywood.
