RAPID CITY, SD – Merillat Industries is getting out of the particleboard manufacturing business. The company announced it will close its 25-year-old particleboard mill by the end of September, according to KOTA News.

The plant had primarily manufactured particleboard for use in cabinets manufactured by Merillat, a division of Masco Corp. More than 150 employees will reportedly lose their jobs when the factory closes.
