CROSSVILLE, TN — According to the Crossville Chronicle, MasterBrand Cabinets Inc. announced it will close its Crossville manufacturing plant in February 2008. More than 200 employees will lose their jobs at that time. The Chronicle also reported that door manufacturer, Elixir Industries, will close its facility and consolidate its manufacturing in Douglas, GA. This move will be effective Dec. 31 and will leave 30 employees without jobs. Read more.
