MacDonald & Owen Lumber Company says it has acquired PW Hardwoods, Brookville, PA, from DLH Group.  The deal includes a Brattleboro, VT warehouse operation as well.

Privately-held MacDonald & Owen, operating for more than 40 years and serving customers in the U.S. and internationally, says the acquisition positions both lumber supply operations to serve customers more cost effectively and efficiently.

“We see this as a strategic acquisition that will allow us to extend our global reach and better serve our domestic and international customers,” says David Twite, CEO and owner. “We’re thrilled to add PW Hardwoods to our company. We’re certain our customers will benefit from this acquisition.”
