Lumber mill reopens, creates 32 jobs
SPRINGDALE, WA -- The Springdale Lumber mill, which was closed several years ago, is back in action and providing jobs for 32 people.

According to the Statesman-Examiner, the mill re-opened under the new ownership of Borgford Bioenergy LLC as Springdale Lumber and Bioenergy.

The mill produces standard dimensional lumber, plywood, sheet rock, roofing materials and custom cuttings.

Owner Dale Borgford told the newspaper that plans call for adding a bioenergy system to generate 3 megawatts of power and a new retail building at the site.
