MINNEAPOLIS — Lexington Mfg. was named Minnesota Manufacturer of the Year for mid-sized companies by the Minnesota Manufacturers’ Alliance. Art Sneen, director of the Manufacturers’ Alliance, cited Lexington’s success in the implementation of its lean manufacturing program and its willingness to share its lean experience with other manufacturers as the basis for the recognition. Lexington employs 200 people at plants in both Minneapolis and Brainerd, and generates about $45 to $50 million in annual sales.
