MONROE, MI – Furniture manufacturer La-Z-Boy Inc. reported net sales for the fiscal fourth quarter of 2008, ended April 26, of $368 million, which is down 9.8% compared with the prior year quarter. The company reported a loss from continuing operations of $4.5 million, compared to an income from continuing operations of $8.4 million for the same period last year.
For the full fiscal 2008 year, the company reported sales of $1.5 billion, down 10.5% compared with the prior year. The company reported a loss from continuing operations of $7.5 million versus income from continuing operations of $19.8 million for fiscal 2007.
