JASPER, IN – Office furniture manufacturer Kimball Office has earned LEED for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for its rooms in the Product Design & Research Center in Jasper, IN. According to Interior Design, the 13,000-square-foot space was created in partnership with TVS Interiors and serves Kimball’s product development teams.
“We saw this project as an opportunity to redesign a portion of an existing facility so that it aligned with our sustainability practices,” said Douglas Prickett, Kimball Office’s director of sustainable design. “How we manage the use of material in the design of our products to how we design our buildings demonstrates our genuine concern about the impact we make on the environment.”
