— Wood veneers and finishes in its Vision line have been expanded by Kimball Office. The revamped surface materials platform, developed in partnership with Perkins+Will's Eva Maddox and Eileen Jones, will be shown at Kimball Office's Chicago showroom, across the street from NeoCon, during the week of June 12.

The Vision collection consists of natural and premium specialty veneers in maple, walnut, and cherry.

“The new selection of finishes provide clients with rich, sheer, high-impact options that allow wood’s natural characteristics to show through," says Georgy Olivieri, director of architecture, design, and sustainability strategies for Kimball Office. "They complement the veneers they are specified to." Premium specialty veneers include Sapele – Sienna and Coco; and Zebrawood Composite – Clear coat.

“There is an interest among many clients to incorporate the unique style of exotic wood species into the workplace," says Olivieri. "To preserve this rare wood species, we are offering a Zebrawood composite that beautifully replicates the contrast of natural Zebrawood.”
