JASPER, OR -- Fire investigators were still trying to determine the cause of a blaze that claimed three buildings at Jasper Wood Products Sunday night.

According to KMTR, a power outage might have played a role in the fire that ignited in a dry kiln and spread before fire crews could bring the fire at the treated lumber facility under control.

At least 10 fire engines were deployed to the scene. Firefighters had to shuttle water from the nearby Willamette River because there were no fire hydrants at the site.

Four employees reportedly escaped the complex without injury.

The amount of damage and cause of the fire were still to be determined.
