GREEN BAY, WI – Office furniture manufacturer KI has sponsored the Design Merit Award Competition at Auburn University, where students are designing a half scale model of a bariatric chair made entirely of reclaimed cardboard.

“Designing healthcare furniture requires in-depth understanding of the many issues and trends taking place in both healthcare and society.
