ST. PETERSBURG, FL –The Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America honored Kenny Moffatt with the 2007 Ralph B. Baldwin Award of Excellence at its 16th Annual Woodworking Industry Conference. The annual award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the woodworking industry, the WMMA, their companies and their community.
Moffatt, president of Unique Machine & Tool Co., Phoenix, AZ, has served the WMMA as Treasurer, Vice President and President. Currently, he sits on the WMMA Board of Directors. He contributed to the Strategic Visioning Process that took place several years ago and is now a formalized process taking place every two years. Additionally, he is a member of the WMMA’s Leadership Development Committee.
Moffatt was also active in the Wood Industry Leadership Forum and served as the Chair of the Woodworking Industry Conference Liaison Meeting with three associations: WMMA, WMIA and AWFS.
