RESTON, VA -- Bill Weaver, president and CEO of Canyon Creek Cabinet Co. of Monroe, WA, was appointed president of the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Assn.

Weaver succeeds Ian Sole, who was elected president at the KCMA's annual convention in May. Sole stepped down when he left his position as senior vice president of sales and marketing for American Woodmark.

Immediately prior to his appointment as president, Weaver was vice president in the KCMA. The KCMA has 360 manufacturing and supplier members throughout the United States and Canada.

Canyon Creek has won many industry and environmental awards since its inception in 1981. Among them, Canyon Creek was named "America's Best" by Wood & Wood Products in November 2004.
