KCMA elects 2010-11 officers


RESTON, VA -
More than 150 members of the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Assn. met against the backdrop of steadily improving market conditions for the group’s 55th annual convention.

The meeting, which brought together cabinet manufacturing executives and industry supply representatives, was held May 16-19 at the Wild Dunes Resort Isle of Palms, SC. 

Jack Hans of Custom Wood Products was installed as KCMA president for the 2010-11 term. He succeeded Kevin O’Neill of Wellborn Cabinets Inc., who remains on the board as immediate past president.

Rounding out the KCMA Board of Director’s officers are Greg Stoner of MasterBrand Cabinets Inc., vice president; and Robert Gronlund of Wood-Mode Inc., treasurer.

In addition to Gronlund, three other active members were elected to three-year board terms , including: Brad Boyer of American Woodmark Corp., Terry Dickey of Marsh Furniture Co. and Bill Weaver of Canyon Creek Cabinet Co.

Associate member Roger Rutan of Timber Products Co. was elected to a two-year term.

KCMA is a non-profit organization founded in 1955 to represent companies that manufacture kitchen, bath or other residential cabinets, plus producers of decorative laminates and other industry suppliers. The association has more than 400 members throughout the United States.
